We produce feature films, short films and documentaries for TV and theatrical release. Documentaries Documentary is a wonderfull cinematographic practice in its own. Plot Point Prod. wants to finance and support cinematographic documentaries in wich authors tell true stories and moreover increase their own and specific point of view. Shooting a documentary can be fun and exciting but it is also very challenging. Choosing a topic, securing the trust of those you interview, releases, money and all the other myriad of things that go into shooting a documentary can seem like a difficult task that will never get done. | Short Films Short film is the best way for young screenwriters and directors to improve their skills. Experienced authors can also tell stories more adapted to short format. It can be screening in festivals, theaters, or can be bought by television channels. Short format is a great experiment field thanks to the the light production needs. Directors have more freedom to test new or original techniques and narrative ways. Short films productions are sent to many film festivals accross the world. Festivals are a great opportunity to show a director's work to a large audience. Web Series The rise in popularity of web series can be seen as a result of the increasing availability of broadband and the improved video streaming technology. This has allowed independent producers to create low budget series distributed on the Internet, but more recently major television production companies are using the Internet as a means of promoting their TV shows as well as developing specific media and shows for the Internet. |
